Cassidy's Homework

Cassidy comes home from school each week with a list of about 25 things she can choose from to do for homework for the week. She is to complete at least three assignments. They range from a practice spelling test, making riddles using spelling words, to making pictures. So far she has made a globe, a family tree, a paper chain with spelling words, she made a book about her family, made a food pyramid, made flash cards and lots of science experiments and nature pictures. For her latest science experiment, she dug up some dirt and sand from our backyard and placed it in a baggy, then she placed it in the freezer to see what would happen to it. It is now in the freezer at school. These pictures are from her latest nature picture. She loves going into our backyard and finding things, rocks, acorns, leaves, berries, twigs and apples, luckily she leaves the mushrooms alone.
