Edelweiss Lodge

THE POOL
I really don't have to say much more than that. The kids love coming to Garmish and were so excited. All they ever talk about is going to Gamish and swimming in the pool. It was great, we either had the pool to ourselves or with one or two other families. We even ran into a family we knew from church. The kids liked having friends to play with. We checked out of our room and dropped Stewart off with the scouts. Then we went swimming.

Thomas always wants to wear his goggles swimming. But they always end up on top of his head. Zachary has come along way from last year. We came here last year and he wouldn't let go of me. Now he is jumping in on his own, although he does it cautiously.

If we go early enough, kids can get in the hot tub. And with no one around, they can play and splash in the hot tub.

On our way out to the car, I handed the camera to Cassidy. This is what she was inspired to photograph. One of the tasks Cassidy had to do for her Adventures in Garmish Patch was to sit in one of the wooden rocking chairs and notice what was above the fireplace. It is an old wooden sleigh.

This is the flower Edelweiss.
