Ritter Sport Factory

We were told when we first got to Germany the there was a Ritter Sport Factory/ musum close by. We finally made it there. We didn't do the full museum, but enjoyed the small museum over the shop. Here is Cassidy and the Cocoa tree. They other picture is Cassidy listening to an audio clip on how Ritter Sport makes their chocolate bars. Luckily we could choose to listen in English, so we learned a lot.

At the end of the museum they had on display the Ritter Sport packaging that was used throughout the years. The boys are watching Ritter Sport commercials from the years past. They had very convincing commercials. If you ate their chocolate bar you could run the fastest and always came in first place. But I liked the commercials that taught you how to eat their chocolate bars. In 1976 they introduced the snap-open pack. You snapped the chocolate bar open, then would carefully seal it back up to eat later. Yeah right, who saves a chocolate bar for later!?

The boys are waiting for the Ritter Sport Truck to bring them their chocolate bar. What more could the boys ask for. You get to press a button, watch a miniature motorized truck, and get a free candy bar!! They had a great day.
