Zachary and I were chaperones for Cassidy's field trip to the San Antonio Zoo. This is my group of kids that just had to go spend their money at the gift shop. I only allowed three of the group in at a time, the rest of them had to wait outside for their turn. Zachary brought his money to buy a stuffed animal, so did Cassidy (no surprise on that one).
Zachary had to buy a tiger like Thomas'. Thomas had bought a stuffed tiger at the zoo in Germany, because Cassidy had gone to that zoo with a friend and came home with one.
We say a lot of animals, ran around a lot and had fun. After the Zoo excursion we went across to the park to play and have lunch. They were able to afford to have pizza and snow cones from their fund raiser earlier this year. Since Zachary and I drove to the Zoo we could stay a little longer. So Cassidy stayed with me while the other students went back to school on the bus. Cassidy, Zachary and I went back into the zoo to see the few things that we did not get the chance to see. One of the things was the Butterflies, aren't they beautiful?

Well the one red butterfly had a huge snow cone, which can be seen all over his face.
No really there were real butterflies we went back to see. They had an enclosure where the butterflies flew all around you. They liked the kids' red shirts and kept landing on their shoulders and backs. Cassidy was given a Butterfly matching game years ago from her Aunt Christine. So Cassidy and Zachary kept identifying the butterflies that were also in the game and which ones were their favorites.
