The Girl Scout council sponsored a cookie kick off party. The girls gathered at the local movie theater and wandered through different activities. Here are some of my girls voting for their favorite cookie, after a taste test. And some of my other girls are answering questions about Girl Scout cookies.
There was a music room where the girls sang Christmas songs, a place to make signs to advertise the cookie sales and they could sign their names or draw pictures on the big "Thank You for buying cookies" sign.
Our girls made it through all the stations and were ready to go into the theater. I think you can guess that they were not allowed in yet. But they were put to work carrying the popcorn and were the first troop allowed into the theater. We watched The Parent Trap with Haley Mills. It has been a long time since I had seen it and Cassidy has never seen it. She thought it was funny. She asked if Stewart's brother's Keith and Kenneth ever switched places as kids.
