Sledding Fun

We received 6 more inches of snow after we got home from Barcelona. So we made a snow date with some friends. Emily and Frank came over to go sledding with the kids. This was Frank's first time sledding down the hill by himself.

Emily wanted to capture Frank's experience, so she came down to the bottom of the hill with her camera. Cassidy stayed up top to help Frank down the hill. Well, to keep him from sliding down the hill until his mom was ready.

Thomas is a bit dramatic when he sleds. Yes he is happy.

Cassidy has just as much fun with a sled as without one.

Zachary has sure come a long way since last year. He stays out as long as Cassidy and Thomas now. He only cried a little at first, when the snow first sprayed in his face. He did have snow in his ear though, it would make me cry too.

We ended our sledding fun with the world's best hot chocolate. It was my first time making my mom's recipe since I had kids. (The packaged stuff is more convenient and the kids don't care.) But they all LOVED it, they said it was the best they had ever had. It did help that I stuffed their mugs with marshmallows.
